Best Day Ever!!!
Today is going to be the best day ever!
I tell myself that every Saturday.
No work, no responsibilities, nothing but fun.
I sit here in my chair, tv across, computer in front.
I keep telling myself “I will write”.
I set that goal every weekend.
Big dreams of novels and stories galore.
But then my mind freezes; I turn on the tv.
“Only for a few moments” I tell myself.
Then I turn on the music hoping it will spur me: I end up listening to the same song five times.
Soon hours past and I've only gotten a paragraph.
