He could feel his muscles pumping as his adrenaline rushed.
They all came at him one by one. The war of the cryptids has escalated as they fought against their own kind.
The boy's army, and his master's.
Two opposing sides of Kur fighting for control.
Every hit, every blow. Did it hurt? Yes indeed. Did he care? No. Not in the slightest.
He did everything for his master.
Just as the great Kur had two sides, so did he and his master.
They were two limbs. One could not go without the other. In that death land of snow and ice he had risked it all for his master, disobeying even his orders to save his life.
Seeing his broken form. His destroyed plans. That family rejoicing in their victory. It made him hate them all the more.
He longed to see them bleed. Their bodies broken at his master's feet.
He felt the axe dig into his flesh. His master's scream echoed in his ears. But once more, he fought through the pain
"Whatever happens to me…I want you to make them HURT."
That mantra, his master's words. It recited repeatedly within his head. He fought for lord knows how long. He never tired, he never tarried. He would go on till his breath left.
Then he felt it. There was a snap. Like string had broken. A very thing one. He felt himself fall. His energy spent. It was as if a leech sucked him dry.
Master? HIS Master? He could feel nothing.
His body…..it couldn't move. He let himself drop.
"Whatever happens to me…I want you to make them HURT."
He wanted to obey. He tried to obey. But he couldn't. He had failed. His master was gone.
He was alone. And he let himself fall. He didn't care when they came.

Hello this is an (early( birthday gift for 
formally known as Delete Lover. She recently deleted her account and has since rejoined DA under a new moniker. This is a short little drabble based on the old show "The Secret Saturdays" featuring two of her favorite characters. I have posted this as romance fic but reading her article it will make sense.
